About
Black Trans Empowerment Week serves as a heartfelt tribute to the entire Black trans and gender-diverse community, along with its dedicated supporters, who are committed to forging a brighter future for Black transgender individuals. BTEW is a jubilant commemoration of life, legacy, and the tireless community leaders who shape the landscape of Houston.
Every year, from November 15th to 21st, The Mahogany Project joins forces with community to orchestrate a series of community engagement events. These events aim to foster thriving communities that fully embrace transgender, gender-diverse, and intersex individuals.
Sponsorship Tiers
Diamond
Sponsors who donate $5,000 or more will receive the following benefits:
● Your logo will appear on all promotional materials and programs and listed as the premier sponsor of the event.
● We will verbally affirm your sponsorship throughout each event from the stage.
● Your logo will appear on the stage via projection or banners.
● Organization will create social media and website content highlighting your partnership and sponsorship of the event. Organization will work with celebrity trans and LGBT guests to promote sponsorship.
● Team and staff of your organization will have VIP tables and seating as requested.
● Display Sponsorship: Sponsor will be invited to table and create activation to promote brand awareness and community engagement.
Platinum
Sponsors who donate $2,500 will receive the following benefits:
● Your logo will appear on all promotional materials and programs and listed as the premier sponsor of the event.
● We will verbally affirm your sponsorship throughout each event from the stage.
● Your logo will appear on the stage via projection or banners.
● Organization will create social media and website content highlighting your partnership and sponsorship of the event. Organization will work with celebrity trans and LGBT guests to promote sponsorship.

Gold
Sponsors who donate $1,000 will receive the following benefits:
● Your logo will appear on all promotional materials and programs and listed as a sponsor of the event.
● A team/staff person will be requested to present an award on behalf of your company, to one of our Board of Directors- selected community leader awards.
● We will verbally affirm your sponsorship throughout each event from the stage.
● Organization will create social media and website content highlighting your partnership and sponsorship of the event.
● Team and staff of your organization will have VIP tables and seating as requested.

Silver
